Redesign Website and Donation Pages to optimize Double Your Campaign

Every year the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee has a "Double Your Donation Day" where it adds together several large gifts from corporate and private donors to offer a match challenge. Their website and donation page needed a refresh and redesign. The donation form was just a white form with no branding or offer verbiage.

Two months prior to the event, Amergent worked with the client to create a new web giving portal and refine their email development process with a concentration on fundraising.

Three emails sent in one day at key times during the day reminding people that it is Double Your Donation Day at Second Harvest. We used a goal, looming deadline and increased urgency in copy to increase conversions. Amergent included bright eye-catching creative featuring one of East Tennesee's most vulnerable demographics, children. Used large links and copy so viewing and clicking from a mobile device was possible.

Amergent developed a campaign-specific donation page where all traffic could be directed. Reiterated copy, offer and urgency on page.

We osted corresponding messages on social media - used images as they attract the most attention. By doing so, we created excitement for the event with posts throughout the day and drove traffic to campaign-specific donation page.
