Let Your Donors Know How Much They Are Appreciated
Amergent created an oversized closed-face package that utilized machine pen "hand” addressing and first-class postage. A pre-printed cultivation message was used inside a colorful thank you card and variable handwritten messages supported an extra level of personalization. The "handwritten" message recognized donors for various milestones they have achieved.

Variable messages were:

  • Anniversary Package – addressed donors who were coming up on their “anniversary” date of first giving to organization and recognized their lifetime giving.
  • Milestone Package – recognized donors for their last gift, their total lifetime giving and their “supporter since” date.
  • Lapsed Milestone Package – thanked donors for their last gift, recognized them for all they have done for the organization and reminded the donors that it had been over a year since they had last made a gift.

We exceeded our revenue expectations for the appeal by beating our projected response of 9.8%.
