A Successful Marriage of Copy and Design
With World Malaria Day approaching, CMMB wanted to send an emotional, hard-hitting email appeal that illustrated how often a child dies from malaria in Africa – one child every 30 seconds.
An eye-catching headline was positioned to the left of an animated countdown clock that counted down from 30 seconds. When the clock reached zero, an image of a young child looking directly at the donor appeared with the words "Another Child Just Died of Malaria" appearing underneath the image.

Using World Malaria Day as a driver for a donation, the email copy explained in detail the disease, how the donor could be part of the solution and the consequences of not taking action right away.
